Plasma Cutting

At Rock Technical Solutions, our plasma-cutting services offer more than just precision and accuracy. With our state-of-the-art 5X10‘ table Messer CNC Plasma/Oxy Fuel machine, we provide high-definition cutting that surpasses industry standards. Whether you need intricate designs or large-scale cuts, our advanced technology enables us to handle a diverse range of sizes and materials with exceptional precision. Our plasma cutting capabilities extend to carbon steel up to 1.5” thick, stainless steel up to 1.25” thick, and aluminum up to 1” thick, ensuring versatility and efficiency in meeting your fabrication needs. Additionally, our Oxy Fuel cutting is equipped to handle thicker materials, cutting carbon steel up to 10” thick with ease.

Machining

At Rock Technical Solutions, our in-house CNC machining capabilities are designed to meet a wide range of needs. Our shop is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, including a Viking large footprint CNC 3-axis Boring Mill with dimensions of 48X48X20“, as well as a Mori Seiki CNC 4-axis vertical mill featuring a 24-station tool holder with dimensions of 40X24X20”. Additionally, we have a 42” vertical lathe, small vertical mills, and all necessary associated equipment to facilitate seamless machining processes in-house.

CNC machining plays a pivotal role in enabling faster production, maintaining exceptional tolerances, and reducing production costs. Our ability to precisely machine parts is facilitated by our adept use of cutting-edge 3D CAD/CAM software or directly from our customers’ 3D CAD models. Our machines are proficient at producing an array of custom products, which are tailored to meet the unique needs of our customers.

Our dedicated machinists employ rigorous machining techniques to ensure safety, uphold impeccable quality standards, and achieve swift turnarounds.

Fabrication & Welding

Our spacious 14,000 sq ft facility is meticulously equipped for welding and fabrication, seamlessly extending our capabilities from engineering design to the direct fabrication of structures and structural components. At the heart of our operations, our TSSA and CWB certified welders are unparalleled, offering professional, seasoned, and highly qualified services for all projects produced and assembled within our shop or directly at the project site.

Our highly skilled welders and fabricators excel in welding a diverse range of materials, from stainless steel and mild steel to various tool steels. As a TSSA-approved welding facility, we hold the authorization to perform the fabrication and undertake the repair and alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and fittings. This accreditation underscores our commitment to adhering to the highest industry standards and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Beyond welding, our capabilities extend to the design and fabrication of intricate machines featuring integrated hydraulic and electrical systems, weldments, structural steel components, tanks, pressure vessels, line enclosures of all types, shafts, pins and automotive fixtures. This includes the development of various hydraulic presses and balers, all meticulously designed and installed in strict compliance with the latest MOL standards. We also specialize in the fabrication of vessels, tanks, hoppers, and possess the efficiency to upgrade and repair process equipment, effectively reducing maintenance costs.
